About Us

We are proud parents of four wonderful children — Leilani(6) , Camilla(4), Mikael(3), and Aurora May(1) — and are honored to bring We Rock the Spectrum Kid’s Gym to the North Orlando community, where every child belongs, every family is supported, and every moment matters.

As parents of four wonderful children, we understand the importance of creating spaces where children feel safe, encouraged, and free to be themselves. Our journey in the special needs community began when our daughter Camilla was born at 27 weeks and were told that she was not going to be able to live a normal life and as she grew up it was challenging, but she overcame most of her struggles and was diagnosed with Autism at 3 as well as our son Mikael at the age of 2. Becoming owners of We Rock the Spectrum is a deep passion for us to create a welcoming, inclusive, and uplifting environment where every child and every family feels valued, supported, and understood.

Through We Rock the Spectrum we also created our own brand called “A Place for Every Kid” and it’s the foundation of everything we believe in. To us, these words represent far more than a message — they represent a promise to families and to the community. A promise that every child, regardless of ability, background, personality, or journey, deserves a place where they feel accepted, encouraged, supported, and celebrated exactly as they are.
For us, this meaning is deeply personal and every child deserves to feel safe, every parent deserves to feel understood, and every family deserves a community where they truly belong. Our goal is to create an environment filled with compassion, inclusion, connection, learning, and joy — a place where children can laugh, grow, build confidence, and shine together.

Through We Rock the Spectrum North Orlando, we hope to build more than just a gym — we hope to create a lasting impact on families throughout the community by living out what our CEO and Founder Dina Kimmel set out to do when she created the We Rock the Spectrum brand to be a place of inclusion, because at the end of the day, every child deserves a place where they can smile without fear, play without limits, and feel loved for who and how they are.
